Much to our dismay we have to cancel our 2020 Strawberry Festival.
It normally occurs the first Saturday in June, but with the pandemic upon us we are first and foremost concerned with safety.
We have so valued the community's support in prior years and could not have done it without all of you. It is a sad day for us. Not only does the Festival support the Church, but in our view it is really an opportunity to reach out to our wonderful community.
At this point we are keeping our options open for a scaled-down version in the Fall, and we will keep you apprised of our final decision. In the meantime, stay safe. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely, the SMTV Vestry
Confirmation 2020 Postponed
With formal Confirmation classes concluded, we honor our four candidates: Julia Aram, Hannah Fetzer, Cole Fitzgerald, and Charles Hayes. Confirmation was planned to take place on Sunday, June 7, but unfortunately is delayed until further notice from our Bishops.
Drive-By Car Parade to Honor our Class of 2020 and Confirmands
Sunday, June 20, starting at 11 AM in the SMTV driveway
During these uncertain times, the important milestones of moving up, graduations, and Confirmation should not pass without some recognition.
Please join us for a SMTV Drive-By Parade to recognize our 8th graders, HS Seniors, College and Grad School graduates, as well as our Confirmands. We will be socially distant yet festive as we celebrate the blessings in the lives of our young parishioners with cheerful waves, tooting horns, and signs with words of wisdom and congratulation.
To drive by St. Mary's in cars, please come through the driveway in front of the church and exit thought the Bell School parking lot.
