St. Mary’s has an active and vibrant Christian Education program for children pre-K through grade 7. The Church School curriculum is called "Weaving God's Promises," an Episcopal program that reflects the church calendar and liturgy through stories, crafts, prayers, and songs.
Christian Education also provides our students with many opportunities to help others and contribute to our outreach programs throughout the year. Church School children participate by gathering supplies, making cards, writing letters, and preparing food for the needy.
At 9:45 AM children meet together to share an introductory gathering activity before they break off to explore lessons in further detail by grade level. Each grade level engages in age-appropriate activities, Bible readings, and discussions led by volunteer teachers and the Church School Director. Around 10:45 teachers escort students to the church, in time to share communion with their families.
Church School begins Sunday, September 16, at 9:45 AM.

Church School 2018 - 2019:
We traditionally celebrate the start of Church School in early September with a Homecoming & Welcome Barbecue on the lawn outside the Parish Hall following the 10 AM service. This year's date is September 16. This is an opportunity to catch up on fellow parishioners' summer news, as well as a time to welcome new families--with or without Church-School-age children-- who may be joining our parish community.
All Church School children are encouraged to participate in the Christmas Pageant. See a of the 2013 Pageant, or the photos below.
