The Labyrinth
An opportunity for meditation and prayer:
St. Mary’s has a permanent walking labyrinth for the use of both parishioners and members of the larger community.
A labyrinth is not a maze meant to confound and confuse; rather, it contains a single path that leads you into and out of the center. Each journey is different. As you enter, start to let go of daily cares and worries (Releasing). At the center, listen to your inner voice by praying or meditating (Illumination). Then, as you walk back from the center, think about and experience the power of the Divine, helping to connect your daily and spiritual lives (Union).
